Coffee Day - Bridge Road Surgery - Lowestoft

We are hosting a coffee day on Thursday 2nd April 10am-4pm at Bridge Road Surgery. This is in aid of the Beach radios charity ‘Help an East Coast Child’. There will be drinks and lots of delicious treats and cakes available for a small donation. We are also selling home-made Marmalade and will be doing a raffle on the day with some wonderful prizes, tickets are available at the Surgery.

The League of Friends at Patrick Stead Hospital have planned a very special day on Sunday 5th April to follow the success of similar events in previous years.

DAFFODIL DAY will take place at Rydal Mount, Grays Lane, Wissett, Nr Halesworth between noon and 4.30pm offering refreshments, plant sale, Easter raffle and tombola in the delightful grounds of Rydal Mount which will be ablaze with the vivid colours of the daffodils in the grounds. Parking facilities will be available.

There will be a £5 entrance fee for adults. Children will be admitted free of charge. All monies raised will be donated to Patrick Stead Hospital, Halesworth.

Easter Egg Hunt - The lovely gardens of Broadlands Residential in Borrow Road, Oulton Broad are the setting for an Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday, April 5 from 10am to 12.30pm when children and parents are invited to come along. There will be fun things to do plus a raffle and light refreshments and snacks available to purchase. Entry on the door is £3 per child and adults are admitted free. Proceeds will go to the Residents' Amenity Fund.

along (£3 per item) & our very own Mr Prentice will be valuing paintings
and prints (£3 per picture)!

John Grose Kia in Whapload Road, Lowestoft, has come to the aid of local women drivers by launching a free ‘Ladies in Gear’ evening on Thursday, May 21. Men are also welcome to attend.

There will be practical instruction on personal awareness and self-protection, basic car maintenance and self-help will be top of the agenda and advice will be given on reducing the risks women face when driving for work or socially, including dealing with so-called ‘road rage’ in other drivers.
