On Saturday 20th September there is a coffee morning at the library, members from local reading groups have donated cakes and we have sent out an open invite to anyone who loves books and reading to come and join the conversation.


Tesco Farm to Fork Charity Fun Day

It aims to engage people in farming and raise money for Diabetes UK and The Taylor High Memorial Fund.
So far the day consists of Farm machinery, Livestock, Sheep shearing demo, Beach Radio :), bouncy castle, Face painting, Raffles, Farm to Fork trail information centre

Featuring El Gatos Men, tickets are available from Saxons or Bartrams in New Market, Beccles. The £12 tickets include jacket potato & Chilli (Cheese option for vegetarians). 7.00pm until late. Bar available and prize raffle


Charity Fun Day

Tesco are holding a charity fun day on Saturday 20th September in our car park at Leisure Way from 10am - 4pm.
All proceeds will be donated to Diabetes UK and The Taylor High charity.
The day is based on our Farm to Fork theme involving livestock, large farm plant, stalls, stands, food, face painting, bouncy castle & raffle.

Desmonds are organising a family Fun day called Back to The Front on Sunday 21st September at Royal Green, Lowestoft from Midday. There is entertainment from local bands. Teams from local pubs taking part in "It's a Mock Up" which includes rolling beer barrels and a pram race. There are wacky races for the children with a sack race and egg and spoon races.

Refreshments include a BBQ, Beer tent, Ice cream, fish and chips and popcorn.

All proceeds are going to local charities.

British Baton Twirling Sports Association Region 15 Open Baton Twirling Championships

Region 15 recently had two athletes compete in the World Championships which took place in August in Nottingham.
