Recent Programming Highlights

We’ve been broadcasting a programme called The High Energy Schools Challenge every Tuesday evening which sees local high schools compete for £500 for their school by answering questions on music, film, TV and the energy sector

We supported and hosted the Miss Beccles Carnival Queen contest

With lots of local East Coast pubs closing down we asked listeners if they felt the smoking ban had been the cause

Listeners have the chance in sharing hundreds of pounds across the weekday by playing our latest on-air competition

Listeners helped us raise cash for our local children’s charity, Help an East Coast Child, by taking part in The Beach Pub Quiz which we presented from a local in Great Yarmouth

We held a recruitment day at our studios for people wanting a get into local radio and also wishing to join our promotional team – The Beach Patrols

We had the latest for the local elections - a third of seats were up for grabs in Waveney and Yarmouth

We reported on the tragic death of Sandra Pearce from Beccles - The 45-year-old died after getting caught up in a cattle stampede on the east coast

We brought you exclusive reports into education in Suffolk - where a lack of educational psychologists has raised concerns - and worries over sexually transmitted diseases on the east coast

Any complaints made are logged immediately with an acknowledgement receipt issued to the complainant within 24 hours. The details are then passed on to the relevant department. We will aim to resolve any complaint within 10 working days. If under any circumstances a solution to the complaint can not be agreed, a further complaint can be made with Ofcom. For advertising complaints, if we can not find a solution, the complaint can be taken up with ASA.
