It follows an incident shortly before 12.45am on Sunday 16th February, where a group of males were assaulted by another group.
As a result of the incident on Hillside Road East, a man in his 20s suffered swelling to his face and a deep cut to his left cheek after being hit with a weapon.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested on Friday 21st February on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm.
He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
